Work It-Missy Elliot No matter when I hear this song, it always gets me in a good move and ready to shake my groove thing!
Just Fine-Mary J. Blige This song is a great way to pick yourself up and dust you off and remind you that this life is a good one and you can get through anything. It makes the list today because my daughter says it's her favorite song right now. #proudmommoment
#thatPOWER-will.i.am feat. Justin Bieber Even without this sick beat, the lyrics of this song make you want to dig deeper and really burn yourself out with your workout. Without knowing it, your body takes over and you are no longer wanting to quit and give up. You know I'm dancing in my seat right now as I type and listen to this song, right?!? Ooooh, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive!!!
Jealous-Nick Jonas The first time I heard this song was last March when Shaun T was killing me with a T25 workout first thing in the morning after one too many the night before on a cruise. :O I had no idea who was singing it and when I heard it was a Jonas brother I was really surprised-I never listened to their music before. So far, I'm impressed with this brother and love his music!!
Sail-AWOLNATION This song is a slower song for me, but I kinda like the way he just yells through the steady rhythm of the music. It's a good one for lifting. ;)
Tunes to get you toned! Each week I will feature my top 5 songs that get me moving and keep me digging deep during my workouts. I'll share some of the new beats that you just can't get enough of and take you back with some old school jams. Share your favorite songs in the comments!
1. Uptown FunkMark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars This is probably on many people's playlists right now because it is such a catchy song and so much fun to dance to. It just makes you want to move your groove thing.
2. I Want it All Karmin I have been a huge fan of Karmin since I saw them on the Ellen Show in 2011ish when they did the cover of Look at Me Now. These two are crazy talented!
3. Ain't Been DoneJessie J Jessie J is everywhere these days-kinda like Ariana Grande! I think everyone that's into working out wants to beat their best and kick butt with fitness. 4. Applause Lady Gaga Every time this song comes on it catches my attention! It's got a great beat and who doesn't want a little bit of applause? ;)
5. SugarMaroon 5 I wasn't a big fan of Adam Levine before The Voice. He just seemed so cocky in all his videos, and although his songs were catchy, the personality that came through was just not my cup of tea. After watching him on The Voice, he seems much more genuine and likable. Ever since he released Moves Like Jagger I've been a big fan of his music and this is a great tune!
So those are my top songs of the week! What's on your playlist?
